We look out the window and it is still winter, but soon it will be summer again with a lot of great festival events in Copenhagen and surely some fantastic summer weather – but hopefully not the global warming kind… One that we are particularly fund of is the Copenhagen Jazz festival.
At the RYE115 we will have our own little jazz event. Every morning while eating your breakfast you will be able to enjoy the sound of smooth jazz in the background from a small local ensemble. You can enjoy live jazz on the city’s streets, in its clubs, cafés and concert halls, and at open-air night venues. All in the very heart of historical Copenhagen The festival has existed in its present form since 1979 and has grown to feature around 1,200 concerts at around 120 venues – and a great number of these are free.
Visitors can look forward to Copenhagen as a friendly and creative city where it is safe to wander around accompanied by jazz night and day. The programme is available on: www.jazz.dk
