It is our top priority to ensure the safety and security of our guests and employees. Because of that we have introduced a number of procedures and routines at the hotel so you as a guest always have peace of mind when staying with us. We strive to make an effort and to give our guests the very best experience even in these challenging times.
- How do we ensure safety
Please note that this information is valid during the current situation. It is continuously updated in accordance to the guidelines given by the authorities.
- Protective equipment
Our staff wears face masks or visors in all guest areas. The same is required for our guests in the public guest areas. This means that as a guest you must wear a face mask or a visor on arrival, on departure and when staying in hallways or other public areas. As soon as you sit down or when you are at your room it is not required nor compulsory. Reusable face masks (3-layer with antibacterial substance) can be purchased at the hotel and hand sanitizer is available in common rooms and in all guest rooms.
- Cleaning & hygiene
Our employees are trained in extensive cleaning routines, and we naturally follow all guidelines from the Danish authorities. We have intensified our cleaning procedures:
- All contact surfaces in common areas are cleaned efficiently many times a day.
- We offer shared toilets/bathrooms. In our shared toilets / bathrooms cleaning is done several times during the day. All toilets have a ‘sanitary kit’ which we encourage all guests to use before and after toilet visits.
- All tables and chairs in our dining room are cleaned frequently and after each party.
- All service for self-service is removed from the dining room. We still encourage our guests to enjoy take-away food from the local area in the dining room. Service is provided from the kitchen by the staff.
In our dining and living room we have less seats than usual in relation to the authorities’ distance requirements. We guide our guests when they are having breakfast. In our dining room there is a max. of 12 guests at all times and in the living room it is max. 15 guests.
- Food and drinks
We have replaced our breakfast buffet with portion dishes. Upon arrival for breakfast you order on a small ‘menu’, and then breakfast is served individually. Hand sanitizer is available in both the dining and living room.
We do not require a negative Covid-19 test upon arrival but we have introduced comprehensive hand hygiene requirements for our staff and guests based on government recommendations. All employees are trained in our procedures for dealing with both colleagues and guests who show signs of Covid-19 illness. Should we experience a case of Covid-19 at the hotel, we will immediately contact the appropriate authorities and immediately launch a coordinated action plan based on their recommendations and guidelines.
